— Exciting news, a difficult choice – writer Susan Giles, from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has woven a memorable story from the flower prompt that read “Double rainbow – New parents plant rosemary, smiling through their tears.”
Susan tells us the inspiration for her writing: “”Five years ago, my second grandchild was in utero, growing with an invisible twin. Although his parents were not faced with the same decisions as the parents in “Rosemary for Remembrance”, the mental trauma was just as acute. Today Boone and his older sister Lily Kate are both healthy, happy children enlivening everyone they meet.”
Congratulations, Susan, for a wonderful story, and for a happy outcome in real life!
