Life has given Susan Giles many varied experiences from homesteading in Alaska as a child, to working with preschool music, to teaching Thinking Skills and Language Arts for 20 years in elementary school. Retired after 25 years in education, she is now experiencing the other side of the coin: writing for others to criticize and analyze.
When not entertaining or being entertained in Raleigh by their two grandchildren, Lily Kate and Boone, Susan and her husband John can be found in Winston-Salem, NC.
